Geographical position: Serbia lies in south-east Europe in the region of the Central Balkans

Air traffic: The national airline of Serbia JAT (www.jat.com) as well as numerous international airlines connect Serbia with the whole world.

Auto traffic: Maximum speed limit on highways is 120 km/h, on country roads it ranges from 80 to 100 km/h,  but in some places it is reduced to 60 km/h.
Travel documents: For entry  to Serbia only a valid passport is required.  All foreigners must register at a local police station within 24 hours, but this matter is taken care of by the management of a hotel.
Customs regulations: Duty-free import of tobacco products is limited to 200 cigarettes and 250 grammes of tobacco, while duty-free import of alcoholic beverages is limited to one liter of alcohol per person.  Medicine is allowed for personal needs only.
